WHY SEAN?
As a trademark attorney, I've dedicated my career to helping individuals, entrepreneurs, charitable organizations, small businesses, and multi-national companies protect their brands, build their businesses, and solve complex legal challenges. I represent clients throughout the United States and around the world, and one lesson has remained constant: the best decisions begin with listening.
I earned my LL.B. from Trinity College Dublin and my LL.M. from The George Washington University Law School. I passed the bar at the age of 23 and have spent more than 20 years practicing law, advocating for clients with diverse goals, balancing competing interests, and finding practical solutions to complex problems.
My legal career has reinforced my belief that effective leadership starts with listening. Before I can advocate for a client, I must understand their goals, hear their concerns, and appreciate every side of an issue. I believe county government should operate the same way—with transparency, fiscal responsibility, common-sense decision-making, and a commitment to serving people rather than politics.
Professional accomplishments matter, but my greatest investment is here at home where my wife and I are raising our two children, who attend Cleveland Public School. We were grateful to purchase my wife's family's cabin on West Jefferson Lake, where our children are now the fifth generation to make memories on the same shoreline. Living on West Jefferson Lake has deepened my appreciation for our community. That is why I currently serve on the West Jefferson Subordinate Sewer District Advisory Board, where I am committed to working with the county and homeowners to help address issues affecting our local infrastructure.
I'm running for Le Sueur County Commissioner because I want to help ensure our county remains a great place to raise a family, operate a business, and enjoy the quality of life that makes our communities special. As your commissioner, I will be a strong advocate for District 5, a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars, and a public servant who values integrity, accountability, and open communication.
I would be honored to earn your trust and your vote.
